Our latest design near Lostwithiel creates a striking new build home that celebrates light, space, and connection to the surrounding landscape.
A key aim of the project was to maximise views across the client’s fields and land, achieved through large seamless glass apertures that blur the boundary between indoors and out. On arrival, the entrance opens into a dramatic double-height space, filled with natural light.
Externally, the home is wrapped in a refined palette of natural timber cladding and stone, set beneath a slate roofs. This blend of materials gives a contemporary twist on the area’s agricultural character, ensuring the property feels both modern and rooted in its setting.
Using 3D CAD modelling, we carefully explored material combinations and spatial arrangements, resulting in a home that perfectly balances innovation with sensitivity to its environment — a design that exceeds our client’s expectations.
