We are pleased to introduce one of our latest projects- Chapel House. This project proposes a complete retrofit, extension and refurbishment of an old chapel located near Padstow, Cornwall. A key aim of the project was to enhance light, and its spectacular far-reaching views out onto the Cornish Coastline. Carefully placed openings and a unique angled form maximize the site's potential.

 

The concept was to create a contemporary addition to the property to create a home built for the future, the 2 story extension connects to the old chapel via a glass link. 

 

Getting the balance of what materials to use where was a key factor to get right, after our initial concept designs were put together, we put the project into our 3D CAD software to make realistic comparisons. We also used our in-house rending software and geo-location tools to place the proposal within its surroundings to give our clients an idea of the potential views we have captured- see the images below.
